Yamoria Sunsets Poetry Showcase
"YAMORIA SUNSETS IS A KALEIDESCOPE OF ARTISTY WHERE POETRY IS PUT ON A PEDESTAL." In this showcase, Yamoria put on a memorable performance between a marriage of differene t disciplines of dance, music & visual art to the tune of poetry. "Through storytelling and performance art, we redesign the sculpture of the black woman in society and tell our stories unedited."

Ms. Ashanti is a proficient pianist, composer, session musician, educator, and lover of South African Jazz. Her love for music bloomed early, due to being brought up in a house with Jazz constantly being played by two musician parents, her mother playing sax, and her father, Sylvester Mazinyane, being an international Jazz pianist from Soweto.
