The Community Cinema Club, a flagship initiative by New Age Artistry, is dedicated to connecting young South African audiences with the transformative power of cinema. Through carefully curated film screenings, the project seeks to reignite a passion for local movies, highlighting the richness of South African stories and talent.
More than just a viewing experience, the Community Cinema Club aims to make cinema more accessible to townships, disability groups and other marginalized communities, providing a platform to address pressing social issues relevant to the communities of South Africa, using cinema as a tool. Additionally, the initiative introduces participants to the diverse career opportunities within the film industry, offering insights into roles such as directing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing, and more.
