This month, he teamed up AMPD Studios by Old Mutual to host an exclusive AMPD Masterclass with some of South Africa’s leading managers in the entertainment industry – Sibu Mabnea, Thuli Keupilwe and Martin Myers. Sibu Mabena, the founder of Duma Collective, has managed to build a career around her passions – dance, social media and talent management. Some of the world-class productions she has been part of include Cassper Nyovest’s ‘Fill Up The Dome’, ‘Fill Up FNB Stadium’ and Black Coffee’s ‘Music Is King’.
Thuli Keupilwe is the founder and owner of an artist booking agency, Lawk Communications (Pty) Ltd, and represents artists such as DJ Maphorisa, DJ Sliqe and A-Reece.
Martin Myers is the founder of the NPC Music Exchange and has been a publicist and music manager for Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse for 35 years strong. Martin was also BMG/ Sony Music’s Cape Town publicist and marketing manager for 16 years, working closely with local and international acts including Vusi Mahlasela, BLK Sonshine, Shayne Ward, Just Jinger, SSQ and John Legend.
